Current• Combines Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and 21 CFR part 11 Regulations with project management training to initiate, plan, execute, and evaluate global data network projects. • Manages the following contract services from concept to closure: electronic clinical data collection; temperature monitoring, alerting, and data archiving; Internet connectivity optimization; data center infrastructure including routers; Microsoft domain services including international file sharing and replication, permissions, role-based file access, and centralized configuration management; video conference center installations and upgrades; switches, servers, and uninterruptable power systems; incident management; and voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony.• Manages efficient network security including intrusion detection and protection systems, software update management, password policies, website content filters, and anti-virus controls.• Directs NIAID International service desk and technical team on three continents to implement and maintain the above services.• Aligns customer operation methods and objectives with technology solutions. • Writes standard operating procedures and workplace guidelines for clinical data management systems. • Designs and implements data network diagrams and workplace guidelines for the above services in the field. • Created a two-way mobile text-message system for investigators and their staff in the field to receive alerts and request information from temperature monitoring systems, directories, and other network systems.• Travels to client field sites in Africa, Asia, and the United States to meet with program stakeholders, coordinate project activities and evaluations, present on service offerings, and train local staff to continue operations.
