Supervise 3 Early Learning Centers and 1 School Age Before/Aftercare programs.CLASS DESCRIPTION Performs senior support level administrative and recreation related services work under general supervision from an administrative or technical superior. Work includes overseeing, planning, and directing the safe and efficient operation of a variety of recreation programs and services at Recreation and Parks facilities and playgrounds. Coordinates externally with community groups and volunteers, manages facility arrangements, maintains records and prepares evaluative reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Directly responsible for the supervision of 3 Early Learning Centers/ Preschool operations and 1 School Age Program. - RLC First Aid & Safety Coordinator.- Payroll entry and preparation of monthly payroll reports.- Assist in site visits.- Assist with newsletters and fliers.- Tracking and filing of all RLC paperwork.- Attend all departmental staff meeting relative to RLC. .- Substitute at program sites when necessary.- Organize program participant’s files.- Assist in the preparation of press releases.- Assist in hiring, recommend for hire, training and evaluating of part-time staff and contractors under the supervision of a Recreation Manager.- Assist with Staff Development Training- Assist with brochure input.- Develop various sports programs for inter-school competition.Flag Football Tournament, Team Handball Tournament, Basketball Tournament, Track and Field Event, Spelling Bee Competition and Art Show for each of our 3 Community Centers.
