The CBD is the front-line commercial manager leading the business development initiative to key airline, OEM, and MRO business partners and is responsible for securing new business, increasing revenue, margin, and market position. In this role I managed the entire sales pipeline from identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, initiating contact with the appropriate buyer/manager, developing a successful capture strategy, pitching services, negotiating contractual terms and price all the way through to managing contracts post award and ensuring timely payment for services. In this position I negotiate and closed numerous multimillion dollar MRO long-term agreements with key accounts such as Delta Air Lines, Republic Airways and GE Engine Services and consistently surpassed annual spare parts sales goals leading to revenue exceeding $100M. The CBD "owns the customer relationship". My success was based on building strong relationships with all customers and ensuring their needs are met, problems are solved, and feedback remained positive.
