Hello, I am Brian Murphy, President of PopQuiz Computers and Managed Services.Being self-employed since 18 has been a struggle at times and really drives home the pains of owning a business and being pulled in multiple directions.In my journey, I’ve worn many hats. I’ve also tried, failed, and succeeded in a bunch of verticals; for example:- DJ’ing block parties at 10 years old- Selling newspapers door to door with a team of 20 employees- Buying and flipping 3 houses- Kitchen Server at a hospitalThe highs and lows of all these experiences made me realize that my passion is solving the problems and frustrations that stop people from just focusing on what they’re good at.That’s why I started PopQuiz Computers and Managed Services.Part of my journey was working under bigger providers. I enjoy the challenge of going into a business and finding ways to help them do what they do best, which is to run the business.During that time, I saw first-hand the types of shortcomings most IT companies have and the headache that it can cause for people who just want to do their job. That’s the real reason my partner and I started PopQuiz. Our mission is to build a system around doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing.Though we are tech geeks and love the technology side of our business, people come first.
