Traveled the country providing services to various industries including water /wastewater treatment, food processing, chemical, nuclear, and fossil generation facilities. Extensive experience with code compliance evaluations in accordance with various standards including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and UBC/IBC. Efforts included authoring detailed reports identifying compliance issues, and providing equivalency or performance-based analyses and design solutions. Notable projects include:Provided onsite safety support for 6 combined-cycle power plant construction projects. Responsibilities included performing audits of contractor safety programs, developing safe-work practices, hazard identification (JSA/AHA), leading safety meetings, confined space evaluation, researching OSHA, NFPA, EPA requirements as they pertain to project issues.Provided health and safety support for the initial phase of demolition for a NASA nuclear test reactor at Plumbrook Research Facility. Responsibilities included coordinating NASA’s safety procedures with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Safety and Health Requirements (EM 385). Responsible for developing more than 12 Program Level III and General Duty Risk Management Programs within the food service, water/wastewater, and power generation industries. Performed Offsite Consequence Analyses (OCAs), including the development of worst-case and alternative risk scenarios by modeling the dispersion of toxic gases using RMP*Comp software. Based on the distance to endpoint and the LandView software, determined the affected population, as well as public and environmental receptors. Conducted threat and vulnerability assessments by implementing the Sandi National Laboratories Security Risk Assessment Methodology for Water Utilities (RAM-W) for two large utilities located in the Southeast. Developed facility specific fault trees identifying critical assets, adversary sequence diagrams, & risk reduction scores.
