Jr. Electrical Test Engineer/Team Leader
Mini Circuits Lab
• Utilizing manufacturer's service manuals and blueprint documentation in order to construct new circuitry on breadboards for engineering designs. • Testing of electronic components such as power splitters, directional couplers, transformers, switches, amplifiers, mixers, filters, phase detectors, limiters, phase shifters, attenuators, and voltage controlled oscillators.• Calibration of test accessories and test equipment based on parameters required for measurements. Such parameters included insertion loss, return loss, isolation, coupling, noise figure, attenuation, gain and oscillation etc. • Distributing electronic components to lab technicians for testing based on their knowledge, experience, and educational background. • Double checking and analyzing test data after testing was completed in order to assure accuracy of summary and statistical test data. • Assisting in preparing automatic and manual test setups for lab technicians when problems arise. This included checking for broken equipment that may have had damaged ports, broken test accessories like cables, filters, attenuators, and also checking for networking problems, all of which contributed to an inaccurate test setup.• Assisting in the operation, repairing, calibration, testing, maintenance, and analyzing test data for electromechanical equipment such as engravers, and robotic test equipment in order to ensure high levels of performance. • Extensive troubleshooting on a daily basis for complex situations and executing modifications for solutions. Whenever there were rejected components the team leader/supervisor has to analyze the reason for reject long with the test data and pass the information to the failure analysis team. • Interdepartmental communications to ensure that the routing process goes smoothly. This included signing off of Quality Controlled routing packages for the test department after testing was completed and test data was collected and analyzed.
