About Brian N
I began playing soccer at the age of 6. I grew up in NorCal and played for an independent club- San Francisco Eagles. NorCal was, is and always will be a competitive soccer state and Im proud of where NorCal soccer is now- always leading the path for others to follow. I was fortunate to be picked for ODP, played high school ball and played at Santa Rosa Junior College. In 2002, SRJC was NJCAA State Champions. After receiving my A.S from SRJC i was offered an athletic scholarship at various schools but decided on beautiful Hawaii. I chose byu-hawaii which is a Div.II program. After three successful seasons and my degree in Exercise Sports Science I was asked and privileged to coach a season at byu-hawaii. After a season, I headed back to the mainland and was offered a job at Real Salt Lake in the ticketing department. At the same time I was coaching SLCC and impact united soccer. At the present time I continue coaching and Im currently the youth director for Utah Development Academy. For the last 5+ years I have combined my love of soccer, friendly and fun nature, coaching prowess, and advanced skills to provide aspiring soccer players with the best soccer training available in the Salt Lake valley. Soccer is my passion. I live, breathe, and eat soccer. My short-term goal is to build the utah development academy to the very best program in the state of utah and my long-term goal is to coach at the collegiate level again.
