Brian N. Abrams, a proud Louisiana native, serves in dual positions as Vice President of Governmental Relations at the EOP Group, Inc. and Executive Director of the EOP Foundation’s Cannabinoid Research & Policy Institute based in Washington, D.C. EOP Group, Inc. serves as a professional advocacy organization working with senior leadership from both the Congressional and Executive Branches of the United States government, executive leadership from the private sector, academicians, think-tanks, trade associations and special interests groups. EOP Group, Inc. primarily focus on agriculture, automotive manufacturing, budget analysis, energy & utilities, rural & economic development, tribal matters, water, and workforce development issues. Specifically, EOP Group, Inc. works to leverage public-private partnerships to exhibit proof of concept for strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors. Mr. Abrams is the senior governmental relations executive accountable for planning and leading the organizations comprehensive and dynamic advocacy program, including efforts directed at the United States Congress, Executive Branch Departments & Agencies, White House, and State, Local & Tribal governments.While serving as Vice-President of Governmental Affairs, Mr. Abrams established and served as executive director of the EOP Foundation’s Cannabinoid Research & Policy Institute. The Institute is dedicated to expanding research & development opportunities working specifically with State governments, land-grant universities, farmers, research scientists, and entrepreneurs. Brian previously served as Special Advisor to the President/CEO of EOP Group, Inc. and research analyst. While attending Grambling State University for Political Science, Brian served as a Capitol Hill Congressional intern for both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate working for Members from both the Democratic and Republican parties. During his final year of undergraduate education, Brian served as legislative assistant to Louisiana State Senator Richard Gallot
