(2018 - present) (6 credit hours - 8 hrs a week online)World Regional Geography instructor:An introduction to the major themes of contemporary world regional geography focusing on a geographic examination of the cultures, politics and histories of the major human regions of the world. It will introduce the major issues addressed in the process of globalization in the context of history, geography, political economy, environment, culture and weigh the pros and cons of this important process. (2016 – 2018) (3 credit hours – 6 hours a week)Introduction to GIS instructor:Teaches the principles and applications of geospatial intelligence and examines its accuracies in spatial analysis, data management, data visualization, and data retrieval. Emphasis is placed on its interdisciplinary nature and relevancy to organizations in their decision making processes. The course involves lectures, a field trip and hands on computer lab training.
