Continuous Improvement Manager
CurrentManufacturing Key Index Management:• Oversee key indicators at the Brooklyn manufacturing plant, including downtime, waste, attainment, yield, payroll, productivity, safety, and COGM.• Analyze variation by comparing with previous year's performance, AOP, and contingency plan.• Search for the reasons behind weakened productivity and share findings with team leaders.• Demonstrate project management proficiency by defining requirements, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating updates.Improvement:• Identify process improvement opportunities, with a focus on safety, quality, capacity, and productivity.• Support the development and validation of new capacities and processes.• Support proposals with ROI analysis, benefits, and alternative options for special projects.• Take a leadership role or actively participate in improvement initiatives, utilizing problem-solving methodologies to eliminate waste and non-value-added work.• Perform analytics and reporting to support organizational initiatives using advanced knowledge of data and processes.• Collaborate with procurement, SCM, production, and production support departments to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, resulting in $1.2M in savings in 2023. Projected impact is expected to reach $1.6M.• Apply new workstream processes to improve safety, work environment, and governance.Collaboration:• Collaborate with various teams to develop and enhance processes across workstreams.• Provide coaching and continuous improvement training to team members.• Facilitate cross-functional improvement teams and events.
