Manage a team of IT and Broadcast Engineers responsible for all network connectivity, electronics and 24/7 broadcast for three television networks (CBS 5, MNT 34, and AntennaTV) including 9 daily live newscasts. Ensuring connectivity via internet and microwave to multiple offices and tower transmitter sites. Responsible for millions of dollars of equipment, facilities, vehicles and personnel, as well as a multi-million-dollar budget. Project manager for all Capital Projects, including price quotes, purchasing, and deployment of new computer systems, studio and field cameras, and a “Storm Chaser” vehicle fully outfitted to allow live broadcasts under any conditions. Also manage all operational projects keeping budgetary costs to a minimum while maintaining upkeep of all tower sites, vehicles, and buildings (including main studio housed in a 100 year old historic site.) As well as managing all personnel responsible for the daily live news broadcasts, including Directors, Master Control Operators, and Production Personnel.

Developed full system-wide backup to corporate collocation facility, guaranteeing 24/7 system uptime. Built and maintained all servers in the network, including SQL Database, Application, Mail/Web, and the Active Directory Forrest. Senior penetration tester ensuring that the network is fully secured at all times. Conducting various network scans and vulnerability tests at random intervals to ensure corporate data is protected from external attack. Managed and assisted in all SQL and Application development, including final Q/A prior todeployment.

Redesigned, built, managed, maintained and administered the Beverly Enterprises Intranet and Internet web farm, consisting of Windows 2000 Advanced Servers and Hydra Web 1500 Load Balancers. Designed and implemented a 24/7 load balanced and fail-over web solution. Developed and documented new procedures for Web Application development, quality assurance, pilot testing and deployment of new applications into the new web infrastructure. Oversaw numerous personnel on the Web Team in their duties regarding design and implementation of new applications. Interfaced with all levels of company associates from users to Vice-Presidents with regards to allthings Web.
