• Processing of deposit transactions and ensure customer instructions correctly followed to the letter when processing as instructed with no delays.• Ensuring that controls are maintained by verifying signatures and confirmed to avoid forgeries.• Adhere to the laid down procedures when processing instructions, ensure that account-opening documents relating to the new deposits are provided and terms agreed with customers /account relationship managers are followed.• Ensure that withdrawal instructions are properly authenticated before payments are effected.• Strive to meet customer expectations by processing promptly instructions within the set turnaround time (TAT) and ensure all complaints are resolved promptly or escalated as received• Ensure that interest rates are properly input as advised by treasury and also customer instructions are followed to the letter with proper accounting entries passed.• Contact customers/Arms’ to seek clarifications on instructions and ensure all issues are addressed promptly to avoid customer complaints.• Enhance team spirit in the department and maintain open communication with peers for optimum productivity and aim to achieve work life balance.• Guide on investments on T/Bills, open CDs accounts, process & ensure payment is made to CBK on value date.• Cross selling of our products to customers/non-customers highlighting benefits accruing from the products and our requirements to enable the bank meet its revenue targets.• Ensure orderly filing of all deposit records• Preparation of liquidity gap for the money market and equity fund investment• Placement on the APX system which include call deposits; Treasury Bills, Treasury bonds, Government bonds and commercial paper• Invoicing for wealth clients• Dividend accrual calculations and recommendations on APX system
