Work with Quality to achieve all requirements for cGMP, SQF (food safety), Work Instructions, Job descriptions. Very hands-on daily plant floor support.Train and mentor new team on nutritional organic gummy products and processes. Co-sell (with VP Sales/R&D) current and new (vitamin) customers via prototypes and new formula trials. Grow to a 2 shift operation in CPG’s kitchen, dosing, static mixing, depositing slurry, 12 curing rooms, automatic bottling line/vertical form fill/case erectors.

RSC is a global consumer packages goods supplier of chemicals to Retail, Industrial, Commercial and Private Label, serving 80+ countries. In 10 years as VP Operations & General Manager worked with our CEO to re-invent / modernize this 90 year old family owned company as member of Executive Management Team. Launched SAP and ISO 9000/Lean culture that provided operational savings of $5.0M to fuel much needed staff/functional growth in Sales & Markerting areas. Modeled a new safety culture of teamwork and excellence including an unprecedented 2.7Million man-hrs without a lost time accident.

Assist in the late phase launch of this Tier2 seat-frame manufacturing assembly plant serving Mercedes Benz and Daimler Chrysler. Full automation, close spec assembly and automatic robotic welding, e-coat, painting operation. Business development, sourcing, full launch responsibility.(Build team of 200+, partner with HR to train/mentor team members, train to FMVSS safety reg's, improved line speeds 5-12% via TOC tact time project).

Member of Executive Steering Committee recruited as American Ex-pat to assist this Canadian public company in aggressive growth opportunity (100%) via a major customer account to solely supply confectionary candies and baked goods to Wal-Mart North America. New product development, New product launch marketing A&P schemes, Licensing, Private Label. Multi-site N. America. Developed full functioning three shift operation (including a continental shift) and numerous cost-saving and continuous improvement projects to improve 1st pass yield, costing, and On-Time Delivery. (Union Shop) Aggressively manage working capital during accelerated growth. Steered new product/process development and innovative packaging design in collaboration with marketing/consumer groups. Sourced & Launched ERP system. Also responsible for the Hamilton, Ontario site (Life Savers, suckers, choclate bars).

Relocated to Canada as an Ex-pat under the NAFTA Agreement to improve Canadian companies. First recruited to turn around this Tier 1 Automotive Seat Assembly Plant supplying seat systems to Ford Motor Company (Crown Vic / Grand Marquis). Evaluate full operation, recruit and rebuild new management team and provide exemplary service to the Ford Talbotville Plant. Received Ford's Q1 Award as top performing supplier in seat systems group. Improved global supply chains while setting record breaking volumes on this automotive platform. Received awards as top 3 plant in Lear Corporation.
