I have been leading the design of high-quality residential and small commercial projects since founding Grouparchitect in 2003. Our firm focuses on environmentally responsible solutions to housing projects of all types and sizes, from small residential remodels to town homes to multifamily and mixed use buildings. Housing has been a long time passion of mine and that passion is rooted in serving a greater good. Everyone deserves quality, thoughtful, and efficient design regardless of their income level or housing type or ownership. Good design can come from a variety of influences and sources, but it also comes from experience in working with the challenge at hand. We strive to meld that experience with our creativity to make every project the best it can be.I personally have been studying architecture and residential design since 9th grade and I've taken time to volunteer on construction sites for nonprofit projects as much as possible in an effort to better understand the full process of design and construction. Many others in our office have followed a similar if not identical path. This overall view of the practice of architecture spreads throughout our office, as our core values encompass being general practitioners of design. Grouparchitect's members as a result are committed to being thoughtful and creative as well as collaborative and productive in our work.
