Analyzing data from external sources (e.g.: GPS Tracking, in-cab cameras, fuel providers) to identify coaching opportunities to increase business and individual performance and to meet sustainability targets. Measure and analyze Truck Driver and Forklift Operator behaviours to identify coaching opportunities to mitigate workplace risk, property damage, and social and financial losses. Design and produce new training systems, tools, and processes to address operational performance deficiencies and enhance continuous improvement aligned with the Company's, Client's, and Customer's safety expectations.

I set up the driver training team and trained the 2 trainers who report to me. The team is responsible for the operational performance of 350 company drivers and 150 contractors throughout the country.I am responsible for the continuing development of the training team and their resources and processes.I develope training programs based on my Training Needs Analysis and Gap Analysis.I am a member of the Senior Leadership Team and advisor to the General manager - Operations and the CEO.I am involved in the training and development of the Transport Leadership Team in all transport related matters.I Developed a Root Cause Analysis system for incident investigation based on the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) and the Human Factors Intervention Matrix (HFIX) models.I have analysed the business operation and produced a 9-point plan to improve fuel efficiency by an estimated 16.5%, which is also being used as a case study by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority.

I managed a team of 3 driver trainers responsible for the operational performance of 480 tanker drivers based at Pahiatua, Palmerston North, Hawera, and Whangarei.I was responsible for the setting up and maintenance of the driver training program and its administration systems.I developed the training programs and associated learning evaluation tools. I also wrote the scripts for, and produced short training videos.I wrote the Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of tanker operation and was the gate keeper for this controlled document.In 2010 the Training Team won the Fonterra CEO Award for the Best Health & Safety Initiative for the driver training program on Liquid Load Dynamics.In 2011 the same program won the ACC Award for the Best Health & Safety Initiative in a Large Business

I was responsible for the development of training programs for drivers of Classes 1 to 6 vehicles and the endorsements D,P,V,and F.I developed and ran the "I" Endorsement (Driving Instructor) and Workplace Assessor training courses.Other courses I developed were On and Off-road 4-wheel Driving; specialized Forklift Operation (including VNI Turret lifts and pickers); a driver training program for the CoralSun Tour Group in Fiji; the CBTA Motorcyclist Licensing Trial for NZTA in Auckland; and a hazard Awareness program for fleet vehicle operators.Provided a specialized assessment service (in conjunction with an Occupational Therapist) to NZTA and ACC to evaluate the medical fitness of persons to drive.Member of the Tranzqual ITO Industry Advisory Panel that reviewed the level 5 National Certificate in Driver Education
