As a Leader and Manager, I strive to attract talented individuals, help those individuals develop both personally and professionally, engage with them to provide guidance, assistance, and support as they perform their jobs, reward them when they succeed, mentor and coach up those individuals when opportunities arise, and set them up to be successful without me.As a member of the PSIA-AASI Snowboard National Team, my goal is to provide the membership of PSIA-AASI with industry-leading guidance in the arenas of snowboard and ski instruction, people skills, and teaching skills. As the chair of the Snowboard National Standards Taskforce, I will continue the creation, application, and evolution of the Snowboard National Standards and supporting educational materials. I will lead on snow clinics, personal coaching sessions, webinars, podcasts, and presentations that will drive cutting-edge snowboard instruction worldwide.As an AASI Eastern Region Examiner, I aim to provide the Eastern Region of PSIA-AASI with exemplary leadership and focus by conducting clinics and assessments, while continually growing and expanding my personal riding, knowledge, and clinician skills through training opportunities.As the AASI-E Coordinator for Education Programs, I strive to provide outstanding education and certification events throughout the Eastern Region of PSIA-AASI. I create and manage the event schedules, event staffing, and operations budget for AASI instructor education for over 10,000 members.As the former Director of Skiing and Riding Services at Mount Snow Resort, my mission was to create and manage an elite Ski and Snowboard School and Training Center that provided exceptional guest experiences, to provide industry leading customer service in the Mount Snow Child Care and early education center, and to provide exceptional guest experiences in our Product Sales and Services, Guest Services, Season Pass outlets, and 6 retail locations. I strived to ensure that we were consistently providing excellent coaching, instruction, and service to our guests, in addition to providing exemplary leadership, guidance, and training to our staff.
