I have been a rugby and sports enthusiast since a very young age. In school I played Football; Rugby; Cricket; Athletics. I started playing youth rugby in 1975 aged 14 years old for Glamorgan Wanderers RFC playing elite level aged 18/19. I continued playing senior rugby and Captained the Wanderers in 1995/6. I started coaching in 1997, I have been a Level 3 UKCC Coach since 2007 and assisted with the Blues under 18s. I have coached senior rugby at Rhiwbina RFC and Cardiff Harlequins RFC and currently coach Cardiff Harlequins Youth side. I am also the Youth Secretary/Fixture Secretary/First Aider and Bottle Carrier! I started refereeing in 2002, becoming fully involved in 2006. I am a WRU Level 2 referee and have officiated in a number of Senior and Youth Cup Finals. It dawned on me that there was a need to do away with the lanyard attached to a whistle which would make the whistle's use more user friendly. I then came up with the idea of my "Glove". As well as practicality the GLOVE would provide warmth in colder weather/climates. My objectives are to promote my product where ever a whistle is used and offer an alternative to officials/coaches/teachers involved in a variety of sports throughout the world. I have a registered Brand name and Logo which I intent to also promote. Very little ever happens in the refereeing circle, my product will hopefully break the mold?
