After 40 years in health care as a registered nurse with experience in general duty, critical care and mid-management, I took an early retirement. I still work casual as a registered nurse for the County of Oxford, Public Health and Emergency Services providing school immunizations and flu clinic coverage.I have also completed my TICO certification and work as an independent Cruise and Vacation Specialist with Expedia CruiseShipCenters providing travel services to clients throughout southwestern Ontario out of the Woodstock, ON office.I have been involved in volunteer work for 20+ years, most notably with the Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations Inc (OFHSA). I have served at the local level as an association president through to Federation President, and I am recipient of a federation life membership, two council life memberships, and the Col. R.s. McLaughlin Award. I have represented OFHSA at the Canadian Home and School Federation (CHSF) as representative, Central Vice-President, 1st Vice-President and have been honoured with a Volunteer Recognition Award, and Life Membership.
