Operations Manager, Mba
Current•Responsible for planning and organizing programs as well as personnel management, including staff meeting coordination and procurement of supplies •Assist with strategic planning, resolving issues, completing audits, identifying trends and applying process improvements•Negotiate and manage proposals and contracts; review and maintain records •Supervise daily operations and responsible for the management of 2 direct reports•Monitor staff performance/developmental goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance reviews, and administer salary adjustments•Obtain permits from fire and health departments to erect displays and exhibits and serve food at events•Coordinate services for events, such as transportation, facilities, catering, signage, displays, printing and event security•Conduct post-event evaluations in order to determine how future events could be improved•Liaison between departments, charged with compiling information and verifying appropriate and required operation policies and procedures •Provide departmental financial oversight by gathering, assembling, and formatting data for preparation of budget and preliminary analysis •Preparation and presentation of preliminary and final budget documents•Preparation of daily financial reports•Assist with issues related to availability of funds, fund transfers, and budget compliance•Make recommendations on allocations of funds; develop expenditures and revenue forecasts•Establishes and maintains a current and functional control record of all allocations and authorizations received and those disbursed•Checks the accuracy and adequacy of budget justification data submitted•Review and consult with management on final budget preparation•Assure timely and accurate invoicing of A/P•Participates by drafting a variety of financial reviews, instructions, and procedures
