Managed the Product Engineering portion of the Engineering group, which consisted of an Electrical Engineer, a Lead Designer, and a CAD Technician. Duties included managing project load and prioritization, providing support and advice as needed to keep projects moving, and setting personal goals and giving periodic performance reviews for all direct.

Lead and mentored the Mechanical Engineering group consisting of a Mechanical Engineer, a Designer, a Cad Technician and a Test Technician, while continuing to execute the duties of a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Provided support for existing product - including addressing quality concerns, product design improvements, cost reductions and design changes for manufacturability. Also provided engineering support for component part re-sourcing efforts.

Established cost estimates for new products, managed manufacturing and delivery of prototype parts for OEM customers, created process steps and parameters for new product launches, managed project launch timelines and deliverables.

Provided "cradle to grave" multi-disciplined Engineering product support for a Powder Metal manufacturing facility. Responsibilities included: product cost estimation and quote generation, tooling design, process design, product validation, APQP and PPAP documentation, Process Routing and BOM creation and maintenance, process support and troubleshooting.
