• Improves customer art for the silkscreen, clamshell printing (corrugated box) and offset printing process; designs die drawings for manufacturing vinyl and thermoformed packaging.
• Completes prep work for screen printing (i.e. clean screens, coat with emulsion, screen exposure, pre-press prep work, and screen stretching); mixes ink colors to match customer color requirements.
• Transformed Art Department from manual, hand-driven operation to fully computerized production process.
• Oversaw refinement of Silkscreen Department print quality by implementing standards for mesh, screen tension, squeegees, pre- and post-press, and quality control.
• Repairs machines with mechanical and electrical problems, receives deliveries using fork and reach trucks.
