Transitioned from core scientific duties to establish corporate strategy and business development processes and led organizational restructuring in line with therapeutics focus

Employee #1 and core member of the founding team working directly with the CEO and CTO to build the organization and platform technology, form and grow the therapeutics pipeline, hire and scale the team, and architect the scientific strategy. Over time the technical portion of my work evolved from individual contributions to managing a team of scientists and engineers. I led the Machine Learning for Drug Design group comprising ML for Virtual Screening and ML for Molecular Dynamics subteams. Together we built a world-leading platform for molecular dynamics based drug discovery and found success in drug discovery projects spanning multiple target classes and therapeutic areas. Early on, I was principal scientist on a small molecule immunology program achieving unprecedented in vivo proof of concept against a difficult-to-drug target with no pre-existing ligands.
