• Evaluates, maintains and upgrades complex hardware, software and peripheral equipment for large complex networks. Worked to configure and ship over 200 new Cisco switches to USMS sites as part of a nationwide upgrade. Created and maintain (400 + sites) Visio site network diagrams. Remotely troubleshoot and resolve network issues at USMS sites throughout the continental US and its territories. Maintain a SharePoint database of both currently installed and excess network equipment. Replace or fix and production equipment not slated for replacement. Evaluate and provide network bandwidth reports to USMS site Administrators. • Enforces security procedures such as ACLs, TACACS, RADIUS and ISE • Participates in special projects including network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN/WLAN hardware and system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving. Current project is working as part of 5 man network team that configured, racked and connected both wired (fiber) and wirelessly over 70 network switches supporting 16 floors in the new USMS HQ. Provide Windows server and network administration support. Primary responsibilities include configuration, testing, monitoring, documenting, and verifying successful backup and restoration of data for approximately 230 virtual and physical production, development and testing servers located in 2 data centers within the Kennedy Center. Manage appliance and client servers NetBackup security and vendor recommended patches and upgrades. Provide server administration support to USCG customer. Responsible for performing daily Tier 4 Windows Server and Exchange administration including user moves, account management, remote and virtual server builds, monitoring backups, patches, DHCP administration, DNS administration and troubleshooting network access for the enterprise server environment for SIPRNET and NIPRNET networks.

Provide systems integration planning and implementation support for IT infrastructure upgrades and installations at both OCONUS and CONUS U.S. Department of Homeland Security locations. Was the project lead supporting FBI LEGAT project responsible for the acquisition, configuration and deployment of all hardware, cables, and tools needed for the network and desktop computer installations at FBI sites located in the US Embassies worldwide.Prior to project lead duties was part of a network installation team that installed and configured desktop workstations and printers, Cisco routers and switches, and TacLane 175 for secure WAN connectivity. Installed and terminated new Fiber Optic and CAT5 cabling from communications rack to FBI offices located in US Embassies.Supervised a team of 15 network engineers and computer specialists supporting the FBI Trilogy project. My team networked, configured and installed over 2000 Dell PCs and numerous Cisco routers and switches. Provided daily briefings to customer management. Worked with customer personnel to ensure installations' success. Resolved all hardware delivery and site installation survey issues. I worked closely with customer and program management on many issues including deployment status.Installed and configured numerous PCs, printers and new Dell servers (PowerEdge 2650, 6650) in support of the FBI.Was a member of a two man team that traveled to customer sites installing new Cisco routers and network switches.
