Develops complex software programs as well as performs commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure proper operations of the building control system. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors.

Under minimal direction, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, and installation, replacement of outdated equipment as well as commissioning of highly complex systems (including detailed troubleshooting). Recognized as the technical leader, coach and mentor in the local branch and area for the controls function. Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. Provides consultant level services for the customer related to building automation systems and ensures ultimate customer satisfaction levels with assigned customers. Provides consultative services and recommendations for system improvements to customers. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors lower level Controls Technicians and mechanical labor on building automation activities. Properly completes all required project and service documentation.
