Innovate and Develop new Products for the Foundry Industry

Lead regional team of Engineers at multiple sites (USA/Mexico).Manage R&D aspects of Regional project development efforts, including new product inception, bench prototyping, customer field trials, and industrial transfer of technology. Responsible for bench-qualifying minor product recipe changes (broad portfolio) and raw materials qualification for 1-3 regional manufacturing plants. Work with Global and Regional procurement teams to identify best-fit raw materials alternatives (cost-down, multi-source opportunities).Liaise between Regional and Global R&D organizations, acting as advocate to promote information exchange and solicitation of global resources to support regional needs. Serve on cross-functional Global project teams to manage resources and facilitate technology transfer of new product/process into the N. American region.Assist with customer-based issues that require experienced technical investigation (post-mortem, defect identification, analytical, SEM, X-ray).Maintain site development laboratories.
