Similar to my previous role, I develop high-quality software for ABB’s standard drive offerings. As a senior engineer, my contributions are among the most critical within the team. I am highly competent in the theory of electric motor control, the products for which I am responsible, and the tools used both in power electronics and software product development. I am a key generator of ABB’s motor control intellectual property. I serve as a technical leader for critical R&D initiatives and a mentor to junior staff. I designed, developed, and tested embedded real-time controls for state-of-the-art motor inverters. I provideed top escalation support for challenging field issues at a global level. In addition, I managed strategic engagement with key customers on new technology development. Finally, as scrum master I led the SAFE Agile process for a 7-member scrum team.

I was responsible for developing and testing software for ABB's low voltage drives. This included contributing towards production software of the product, creating and improving automated software testing environments, and analyzing/reporting test results. I also provided technical customer support for complex issues that have escalated past the primary support levels.

This included assisting customers during system design and troubleshooting technical issues during startup, service, and critical line-down situations. I also generated clear and useful technical documentation for both internal an external audiences.

I defined specifications and features for cutting-edge semiconductor products by consulting with a global customer base in high-potential verticals, assessing their technical requirements and TI’s competitor’s solutions, and synergizing those inputs with TI’s technological capabilities. I was the "voice of the customer” during a cross-functional new product development to ensure the correct technical trade-offs are made to make the product compelling for customers and profitable for TI. I had primary responsibility for revenue growth of the new product up to a year after release by working with sales, support, and marketing to win business opportunities and ensure smooth adoption.
