Install repair and troubleshoot POS systems

Howell Data Systems, Orillia OntarioOur company being based in Ontario, I’ve had to work with little or no supervision.My duties include servicing our POS systems to our various clients across NB, NS and PEI.I service approx 100 stores in a very fast paced environment where our customers rely on working POS systems to serve their clients. I travel extensively across my territory to maintain, update repair, change systems or simply to meet with managers to discuss potential improvements to systems. We install new stores, upgrade integrated chip EMV terminals, upgrade hardware and software to our systems and troubleshoot networking issues.

I installed, and deployed windows operating systems to multiple lab computers under supervision of senior lab techs at IT center CCNB Dieppe.My duties included wiring, installing hardware, software and maintaining systems.
