Brian is a Chartered and Professional Engineer with a lifetime experience in the telecommunications industry in the U.K. and Canada. He worked for Nortel Europe and British Telecom, before re-joining Nortel in Toronto where he was responsible for the engineering and marketing of repair and special services to Bell Canada and other major Canadian telephone companies and distributors.Having left Nortel to pursue a consulting career, Brian joined NBI/Michael Sone Associates in February 1995 and authored many reports covering, for example, the telephone systems equipment and infrastructure markets and call centres. In the past several years, however, Brian has specialized in the latest technologies and writes annual editions of reports on the Canadian telecommunications markets covering sectors such as: Internet service providers; mobile wireless device and communications services; Wi-Fi/WiMax; and IP, digital and mobile TV- all sectors in which Brian's opinion is often sought.
