I have been with Lanigan Ryan for more than 25 years. In that time, I have worked with business owners to help provide the strategies, tools, and services they need to take the next steps in growth. My practice areas include tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals, accounting and consulting services, reporting, and accounting system design and installation. I serve my clients in a variety of industries, including commercial construction, real estate, personal service corporations, and government contracting. About 60–70 percent of my clients are construction contractors, subcontractors, and members of the trades.Most of my clients have been able to stay strong throughout the COVID-19 pandemic but still rely on me when they experience concern about overall financial stability and cash flow, or recovering from any bad patch, no matter when or why it occurs. While many of our firm’s clients are quite sophisticated about their finances, some know everything about building a great structure but little about taxes. They all appreciate my focus on keeping them educated and informed, and making information accessible and easy to understand. My time outside the office combines personal and professional. I enjoy spending time with friends and like to play a lot of golf, especially with my clients. I love all sports and live and die by the Hokie teams.
