I oversee and coordinate the daily operations of 8 highly skilled engineering staff while ensuring that company objectives and goals are met. I also assist end users, architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors with comprehensive technical support on the use of Tate’s product offerings in both new and retrofit Data Center applications. I continuously develop the skills and specializations of my team while implementing process improvements and best practices to maximize energy efficiency and effectiveness.

I administered new product creation, engineering changes, and qualification processes for data center products, bills of material, and labor routings for all new products and product changes via prototyping and actual manufacturing process performance analysis. I developed quotations for non-standard and new product pricing requests in addition to maintaining engineering drawings, specifications, and quality procedure documentation.

I pioneered the transition of design documentation to an online repository while providing advice and proposing solutions for operational issues in the field. I also created drawings from CAD models and assemblies to facilitate manufacturing and the assembly process. Additionally, I performed static structural analysis using FEA in CAD software.

I fostered a productive research environment by carrying out managerial duties such as coordinating lab meetings for a group of 30 researchers, instructing new researchers on lab safety policy and procedures, and maintain order and cleanliness of the facilities.

I designed, manufactured, and tested flight-ready payload to fly aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard re-usable launch vehicle. As one of the first of its kind, this payload will probe the composition of the earth’s upper atmosphere, and collect direct ambient environmental data in the often ignored mesosphere.

I designed, prototyped, and manufactured innovative solution for a quick-action Universal Surgical Tool Exchange and Identification System (USTEIS) as part of the MK2 version of the Cooperatively Controlled Galen Microsurgery Robot. In the process, I collaborated with over 20 professional engineers, manufacturers, and non-technical staff to develop a commercial product.

I co-lead several sections, which included teaching and reviewing concepts and examples in Physics I and II.

I led experimentation related to optimizing transceiver used to track and manipulate mosquito behavior.I also coordinated with senior management and six-member team to ensure all proposed designs met strident requirements.

I developed and managed hardware division of the company.I also implemented Raspberry Pi and Arduino microcontrollers in many projects experimenting with PiCamera, LCD, and servos.

I investigated the use of Ruby on Rails for creating a social media platform. I also gained insight into the structure and operations of a startup software company.
