The 1st Responders BBQs are a way for church and other community groups to reach out to our 1st Responders (Fire, Paramedics and Police) and let them know how much we appreciate them for all that they do. Brian's practice focuses on all areas of corporate finance and securities transactions, which includes exempt market financings, initial public offerings, dealer registration, mining related transactions, tech and start-up companies, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Brian is a speaker at seminars and conferences involving the sale of exempt market securities, including how to raise capital in the public and private market place using the new Offering Memorandum, Crowdfunding and Existing Shareholder exemptions,. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 and the New York Bar in 2003. He also serves as a member of the Securities Law Sub-Committee of the Ontario Bar Association and has served as a member of the Executive Boards of the Natural Resources Section and the Business Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He is a member of the New York Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
