• Lead global business development efforts for the Hospital Business Unit within Pfizer, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, evaluating and executing Hospital BU business development opportunities, a member of Pfizer’s Worldwide Business Development Leadership Team• Develop relationships with the owners and management of potential business partners and acquisition targets, including leadership of deal negotiations once an opportunity is identified• Work with Search & Evaluation Lead to coordinate and run the diligence process, managing internal and external business and functional involvement (e.g. Mfg, Comm’l, R&D, Legal, Finance, etc...), identifying and mitigating risks• Manage incorporation of diligence findings into the deal structuring, valuation, contracting strategy, and integration planning, leading the review of the business case with Pfizer senior management• Led the development and presentation of the Established Products BU’s inorganic growth strategy as part of project to define an overall BU strategy, ultimately endorsed by the Pfizer ELT• Led business development efforts for the Pfizer Essential Health Business Unit in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, evaluating and executing business development opportunities within these regions• Initiated and led the development and roll-out of a product forecasting and deal evaluation tool for use on product deals for which HQ analytical support was unavailable• Developed and conducted periodic regional BD workshops (in-market capability development)

Site Finance Head for one of Pfizer's four major R&D sites• Responsible for all aspects of financial management at the St Louis site, Inflammation Research, and the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism global line, including economic modeling, decision support, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control for $400M expense budget and $250M capital budget• Managed a team of six colleagues located in Saint Louis and three located at other R&D sites• Served as the finance lead on a Pfizer team charged with developing our Biotherapeutics strategy, including the analysis of potential acquisition targets• Member of the St Louis site leadership team, the steering committee for a 1,200 person campus
