Senior Manager Repair Center Operations
CurrentManaging all activities related to Sonim's repair network including vendor selection, repair cost efficiency, identifying the optimal portfolio of models to be repaired, quality validation, device lifecycle planning, and oversight of metric development and management. Coordinating with Inventory Control, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales and Operations. Provide reporting on metric compliance and performance and achieve operational and quality metrics (e.g., bounce, recovery yield, repair turnaround time, repair cost and device introduction and end-of-life management). Bridge communications on inventory, finance, operations, and quality-related issues specific to the carrier, and ensure continuous cost improvement initiatives. Oversee all transition and transformational planning, execution, reporting, and related escalation management. Review and approve repair invoices and provide guidance on potential issues and opportunities. Work with the CAMs, Inventory Management, and Post-Sales Support, to identify the ideal portfolio of models for the repair network. Provide repair forecast and guidance to repair suppliers. Establish quality guidelines and provide audits to validate compliance both from a 3PL and original equipment manufacturer perspective. Hold repair suppliers accountable for their performance, manage and maintain supplier scorecards, and partner with them to identify improvement opportunities. Identify optimal repair strategies for each product line and associated repair suppliers. Communicate plans with OEM, cross-functional operations, and demand planning. Continually evaluate inventory levels and associated aging to manage costs while also reconciling inventory at the repair suppliers. Lead project management initiatives to support overall Device Supply Chain initiatives, including business transformation efforts
