I am not your average Army veteran.I have been a medic, an adult educator, and an elementary school teacher. These experiences have clearly indicated my passion in life. My obsession is using systems thinking, data analysis, and strategic planning to achieve objectives. I do this every day with all my tasks.The following are examples in which I have achieved excellent results using systems:- US Army: I designed the system that we used for Combat Lifesaver Training in our battalion of over 600 soldiers. I designed the Powerpoint presentations used to deliver the content and co-created a realistic, hands-on course which earned me many compliments and an Army Achievement Medal.- 2008-2011: I taught myself French using a three-year plan that I developed independently. - University: I researched and developed study systems for each of my courses which allowed me to obtain a final 3.95 GPA. - Teaching: Using Excel spreadsheets, data analysis, and strategic planning, I helped my second graders raise the end-of-year Accelerated Reader points from less than 200 the previous year to a record 1400. Many of my students were reading at a 3rd and 4th grade level due in great part to the tracking systems I implemented in my classroom. My greatest professional goal at the moment is to join an organization focused on achieving important objectives. My extremely high standards, past accomplishments, and intrinsic motivation make me the perfect addition to such an organization. I love connecting with other professionals and systems thinkers.
