Advancing the state of the art of the Move language platform. This includes evolving the design of the language together with the Move community, as well as contributing to a wide spectrum of tools from improving security for Move up to better developer usability. I will be closely working with the Aptos framework team which develops smart contracts in Move, as well as the larger community of Aptos Move developers.

Technical Leadership for Middle Mile Planning Technology teams. Continued cross-organization support, now for trucking/air shipment planning organization. Audited and guided cost reductions of computer services across Amazon Transportation Systems. Close work with researchers and development teams to facilitate production use of leading-edge planning algorithms to solve NP-hard routing and scheduling business problems. Personally productized and tuned graph partitioning and incremental routing algorithms to improve scaling of truck planning systems. Provided technical direction for broader-scoped transportation capacity planning technology team.

Within Global Inventory Planning team (focusing on Topology and Capacity Optimization systems) and Amazon China site, provided cross-organization software tech leadership---training, mentoring, code and design reviews---to a variety of software teams and individuals. Hands-on work on simulation of supply chain systems for planning and experiment. Worked with teams and researchers to tune performance of simulation, data analysis, and services. Drove an effort to improve software engineering practices to facilitate more efficient simulation. Improved already highly tuned order fulfillment planning systems to save significant compute costs.

Researcher with the Programming Systems Lab, in Santa Clara and Beijing. Studied Just-In-Time Compilers for managed runtime environments (like Java VM and Microsoft's CLR). Exploratory work on parallel languages and runtimes, including compiler issues related to transactional memory. Led a small team of researchers in Beijing building a parallel language runtime.

Technical direction for top multimedia company (web magazine, television, online game) targeting interests of Chinese women.
