10 years of on the field Service Technician Experience. Started my Technician Career at the age of 23. Landed my first technician job fixing various models of printers, copiers and press machines. There I learned about customer service, i became “Savy”, learned how to use my first volt meter to troubleshoot and became very mechanically oriented; Everything felt natural. At the Age of 25 I became An electrician and obtained a certificate completing an Electrical Apprenticeship Program; Also received my ET card. For the next 4 years I worked for the IBEW 441 as an electrician and worked for various companies. As an electrician my skills grew. I learned how to read Electrical schematics, I learned about different wire sizes and different forms of wiring techniques. I learned how to run wire from point A to point B, learned how to bend pipe; how to install receptacles, lights, switches and many other skills. I then decided to push my skills and look for a job where I can put all my skills to use and learn new once. I was interested in servicing infrastructure systems and at the age of 29 I got hired as a Boiler technician for the company Benrich Services. Currently working with the company and going on my 4th year. I have accomplished so much in this company in such little time. My position is Boiler technician/tech support. My everyday duties are to Coordinate and communicate with service managers across multiple facilities and properties. Install and troubleshoot boiler and commercial water heaters. This consists of checking and inspecting relays, transformers, electrical wiring, 120v-480v AC motors, electronic components, gas valves, sensors, temperature controllers, controllers, low/high gas pressure switches, flow switches, adjusting gas and air pressures, repairing copper pipes ranging from 3/4”-6”. I also Train and mentor new employees and team members. Provided technical support in high stress environments with 24 hr availability.
