I directed a vertically integrated, 350,000 sq ft, HVAC motor manufacturing plant in Springfield Missouri. Having full responsible for the plant Safety and Sustainability, Quality, Service, Cost (owned the plant P&L, focused on the facilities GP% while driving year over year productivity), as well as having over-site for the year over year Capital Expenditure (CapEx) budgets. The manufacturing site was a high volume/medium mix facility that produced 30% MTO and 70% MTS finished goods serving large OEM and Distribution Customers. In additional, the plant was a parts feeding plant for a sister plant in Reynosa Mexico, supplying very high volume components including Aluminum die cast, stamped and machined parts. I had a direct a staff of 6 direct reports (EHSS, Production Superintend, Quality, Materials, Engineering, and Maintenance/Facilities Managers), responsible for ~350 hourly employees, operating 3 shifts by 5-day operations. The facility operated 7 high speed progressive lamination presses, 14 high pressure aluminum die casters, e-coat paint line, numerous machining processes, waste water treatment facility, assembly and logistics.
