Duties included disassembly of weapons, assemblies, subassemblies and other components,examine for defects, mechanical misalignment and malfunctions. Performingvehicle inspections, repairing faults logged on 2404s, ordering needed parts and runningste/test to determine no faults to turret and weapon systems on the vehicle. Removedpowerplants and removed unservicable components and either tore down and rebuilt orordered new component and replaced back onto the engine. Serviced transmissions,andreplaced external components.Performed final road tests before sending equipment out fordeployment and reassignment to new units overseas.

Worked as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer for a contract field team. Performed suchtasks as tearing down equipment, sorting out reusable components, rebuilding components,and reinstalling new and rebuilt items.
