Duties included disassembly of weapons, assemblies, subassemblies and other components,examine for defects, mechanical misalignment and malfunctions. Replaced barrels, firingpins, springs, trigger mechanisms, shell ejectors, sights, safety devices, bolts, stocksand other parts and assemblies. Modified small arms weapons by replacing obsolete partsand assemblies. Used hand and machine tools, precision gauges and test instruments, andjigs and alignment devices in making repairs, modifications, and adjustments as well asgauging for services on weapons. Applied acids and other bluing or finishing agents, testfired and made operational checks of repaired weapons to assure safety, accuracy, and easeof operation. Worked with M4 and M16 series rifles, Mossberg 500 Shotguns, M240 Series andM249 Series Crew Served Weapons, M2 Crew Served, MK19 Automatic Grenade Launcher, M242Bushmaster Chain Gun, 88MM Mortar Series and various other weapon platforms that werebrought in for service and repair. Trained Bosnian and Macedonian nationals on PMCS andcleaning of the M2 .50 caliber machine gun, the Mossberg 500 and 590 shotguns, and theM240B&C series machine guns, and worked as a night shift lead in charge of the PMCS crewand Small Arms shop. Worked with Armament QC on repairing and finishing up weapons thatare to be issued out to incoming units to theater of operation as well as prepairingweapons for storage.

Incharge of all maintenance on trucks and drop lot equipment to include schedulingmaintence and diagnostic repairs, engine valve lash adjustments ,water pump removal,injector removal and reinstallation,remove and rebuild sheffield steering gearboxes,hydraulic cylinder removal,repack cylinders and reinstall, fith wheel removal andrebuild,cooling system trouble shooting to include removing top radiator tank and roddingthe flues of the core and replacing the top tank, presurizing and verifing that no leakshave been made.Fabricating needed brackets for external steps and welding to truck aswelding broke parts on the truck. Working as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Maintainer for B.A.E. on Kelly Hill. Performingvehicle inspections, repairing faults logged on 2404s, ordering needed parts and runningste/test to determine no faults to turret and weapon systems on the vehicle. Removedpowerplants and removed unservicable components and either tore down and rebuilt orordered new component and replaced back onto the engine. Serviced transmissions,andreplaced external components.Performed final road tests before sending equipment out fordeployment and reassignment to new units overseas.

Worked as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer for a contract field team. Performed suchtasks as tearing down equipment, sorting out reusable components, rebuilding components,and reinstalling new and rebuilt items.
