- Provide case management support to attorneys in the litigation and insurance defense departments.- Design, create, maintain and update litigation support databases.- Provide case summaries and reports for attorneys.- Assist with drafting and filing of complaints, motions, answers subpoenas and other relevant pleadings.- Run reports in various litigation applications for use as exhibits in filings.- Participate in document reviews and prepare document productions including: gathering relevant documents from various sources, merging all into one production, identification and labeling of confidential documents, inserting redactions, and bates stamping final productions.- Provide litigation technology support, including presentation of exhibits, splicing of video files and transcripts, setting up war room and other technological support to the attorneys during proceedings.- Perform technical data management activities such as: data loading into database applications, image loading into imaging viewing applications, CD-ROM and DVD creation, and database maintenance.- Upload transcripts, exhibits and videos into LiveNote for review.- Train new paralegals on case management software and databases.- Research cases and other information on WestLaw and LexisNexis.- Experience with cite checking, bluebook and shepardizing.- In-depth knowledge of electronically stored information (ESI), early case assessment (ECA), data acquisition, forensics, predictive coding and budgeting for electronic discovery requests.- Extensively used CaseMap, Trial Director, iConect, Concordance, LiveNote, Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook and document management software.- Proficient in the use of Adobe Professional and E-Copy to create, merge, and manipulate PDF files, as well as add bates stamping, OCR text recognition and redaction.
