About Brian Reynolds

A native Kansan and proud Jayhawk, I’m an ex-athlete, state-school valedictorian, former investment banker, private equity investor, and fashion merchant turned nonprofit Founder & CEO.My fanaticism for college athletics stems from my Midwest upbringing and identity, while my passion for racial equity is motivated by the tragic death of a childhood friend, inspiring my mission to improve outcomes for the 98% of college athletes who do not “go pro,” who are disproportionately people of color, and who unnecessarily struggle in their lives and careers post-sport.Leveraging five years of Wall Street experience totaling >$3 billion in transactions, and three years of product management/startup leadership for a $75 million corporate business and $10 million startup, I oversaw strategy, fundraising, and partnerships as Co-Founder & Co-CEO of college sports reform nonprofit Trey Athletes from 2017-23.Previously, I earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas and was named School of Business valedictorian and graduation speaker.I reside in Dallas, where I’m an active member of civic engagement society Engage Dallas, focusing on racial equity.
