Continues to serve as the BDE Assistant PAO responsible for the content, accuracy, format and distribution of informational products for public dissemination on social media. Confers regularly with the HQ SDDC Public Affairs in the interest of keeping program efforts in appropriate alignment with command objectives and constantly changing circumstances, especially as these affect the national military transportation support posture. Responsible for development and/or review of Brigade plans, SOP’s, regulations, OPRORD’s, etc. from the Public Affairs Office (PAO) view. Coordinates the construction or manufacture or replacement of displays and exhibits. Establishes and maintains liaison with HQ SDDC PAO and other public affairs representatives of trade associations. Institutes and sustains effective relationships with field offices and subordinate units, providing information for handling and resolving sensitive issues at hand.

Performing S2 functions as a Physical Security and Anti terrorism Officer as well as the Primary Emergency Manager and Continuity of Operations Plan manager for the BDE. As the designated Anti-terrorism Officer, I have been responsible for all aspects of the Anti terrorism (AT) program to include developing, prioritizing, coordinating and overseeing the implementation of the command's long-range budgets, plans, policies and programs designed to meet DoD and Department of Army (DA) and higher headquarters security and AT related regulations. Although principally responsible for AT and physical security functions, I also oversee and provide authoritative guidance in security operations involving information security (INFOSEC), operations security (OPSEC), intelligence coordination, and law-enforcement matters. To a lesser extent, I am familiar with personnel security regulations and foreign disclosure policy and provide initial guidance and coordination support. In security/AT related matters, routinely represents the commander in official forums and liaises with the SDDC G34 Protection Division Program management staff and a wide range of DoD commands, agencies and non-DoD activities involved in security and AT missions. Acting as the BDE S-2, I deal with a multitude of tasks and duties to include representing the BDE as the Emergency Manager with the 733rd Mission Support group/Joint Base Langley-Eustis during 2017/2018 Hurricane Season.

Serve as a Traffic Management Specialist within the Brigade Ocean Cargo Clearance Authority, Contracting Officer Representative (OCCA COR/QA) section. Provides quality assurance for all DoD cargo that is moved by ocean out of the continental United States, Initiates the proper contract documentation and monitors the contractor work performance to ensure contract compliance is met. Responsible for cargo deploying within the military's Northern Command, to Europe/Africa Command, Central Command, Pacific Command and Southern Command. Crossed trained and fluent in all areas of strategic surface transportation; responsible for exercise support for Brigade and 4 geographically dispersed battalions operating from 18 strategic seaports in USNORTHCOM and 30 seaports in USSOUTHCOM.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to include SDDC/597th intern coordinator, strategic seaport program point of contact with SDDC HQ, DTS reviewer, Coordinates ceremonies and events, Tracks/plans required annual training for military and civilian personnel with a primary focus on BDE HQ. Responsible for all Distinguished Visitors to include the coordination and execution of their visit. Primary manager of the Tasker Suspense Program. Content Manger for all BDE S2/3 documents and Portal/Web entries. Coordinates BDE HQ meetings as required by the CDR/CSM. Trained and certified on the approval and processing of TFMS-M requistions. Responsible for the dispatching and maintance of the BDE S2/3 vehicle fleet.
