I have been very fortunate to have experienced a broad range of work environments within the HSE field over the last 2 decades. From oil spills on the BC coast and in the fresh waters of Alberta. I have managed asbestos removal on Vancouver Island to a salt mine in Saskatchewan. I also performed the roles of constructing a million square foot office tower in Calgary and North Americas largest skylight of its kind are all on my project list. I am thankful to have seen such a mix of working conditions and practices while involved in construction and environmental organizations. As a young worker I took on the role as site advanced first aider in Calgary then as an OFA in Vancouver. This training evolved into EMT-A training in Alberta giving me a broad knowledge of emergency care. Having firsthand experience in emergency care, commercial construction, HAZ-MAT training and post-secondary education in HSE Management I have had great exposure to the HSE field. I am always on the move and always looking forward. I am an outdoorsman at heart and an active volunteer in the outdoor community. My vocation by choice is one of helping others be safe and successful.
