Responsible for implementing the Council on Aging’s goal of community service and advocacy to the older residents of St. Johns County through the provision of quality supportive services. Supervise four managers and 29 hourly employees. Provide oversight of six Senior Centers, an Adult Day Care, the Integrative Memory Enhancement Program, and the Independent Living Services department that provide services to over 700 seniors in St. Johns County. Provide fiscal management of an annual budget of $2.5 million. Assist with grant applications and reporting. Promote programs on social media, the radio, and at in-person events, as well as network and partner with area agencies and organizations to collaboratively serve the seniors of St. Johns County.Co-Host of the COA Weekly Radio Show on 102.1 FM WFOY discussing topics pertinent to St. Johns County seniors.

Supervised the Research Department that included two part-time Research Assistants and managed the Research Department's work pipeline ensuring the timely completion of all tasks and projects and confirming deliverables were received by clients. Conducted in-person and online training sessions about the relevance of prospect research and how to conduct prospect research using Internet resources and tools. Researched and stayed abreast of the newest trends being used for prospect and foundation research utilizing resources available with APRA membership and other prospect research institutions.

Conducted, evaluated, and confirmed wealth screenings that clients used to identify prospective donors who have the capacity to contribute a major gift. Researched, compiled, collected, and analyzed detailed financial, biographical, and other publicly available information on a prospective donor using research tools such as iWave, WealthEngine, ResearchPoint, RealQuest, as well as Google, EDGAR, Secretary of State websites, assessor websites, newspaper websites, social media, and GuideStar to determine a prospective donor's net worth and gift capacity. Created a biographical summary of a prospective donor for our client’s frontline fundraisers to use in building a stronger, more personal relationship with the individual. Researched private foundations using iWave, Foundation Directory Online, and GuideStar to identify foundations who may provide grants to support our client’s programs, initiatives, or brick-and-mortar projects.

Utilized specialized knowledge and experience in subject matter to assist with discussion questions and participation; provided recommendations/alternative view points for consideration in enhancing cognitive understanding within Discussion Questions written feedback. Observed students’ performance and documented relevant data in student’s file to provide comprehensive snapshot of student’s learning progress. Communicated weekly with assigned faculty member.

Watched for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacted emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required. Remained alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators. Supervised 4 security officers including training, scheduling, and conflict resolution.

Assisted the DCPI VP of Materials and the Materials Team with the planning, development, writing, testing, corrections, updates, revisions, cataloging, and distribution of DCPI training curriculum. Invited donors to invest in DCPI through monthly financial support of my personal salary.

Fulfilled numerous administrative duties. Served as first elected President of the West Virginia Magistrate Staff Association and was instrumental in influencing WV State Legislators to pass equal pay legislation for all magistrate staff across the state.

Established a new church with 5 other people and grew it to a congregation of 75 people. Raised over $125K for the complete renovation of a church building built in 1917.
