Started out as a general operative in the warehouse and shop floor stocking shelves, serving customers and loading delivery trucks. I was then moved into the transport department to work alongside the transport manager. This would involve being the main point of contact for tradesmen of all kinds and all sizes of companies throughout London. I was able to build many good working relationships with customers so much so that upon the then transport manager leaving, It was suggested I had shown enough initiative to be nominated to fill the role of transport manager albeit at a very young age. I would maintain working relationships, organise deliveries throughout London and Greater London areas aswel as a route to kerry each week. I overlooked 7 vehicles of various sizes ensuring drivers were on time, adhering to legal protocols and recording tachograph results amongst many more requirements. I left this position to return to Ireland.
