Primary Responsibilities: Manage the overall revenue cycle training program for SHC Patient Access Services - contents, resources, scheduling, training request intake, prioritization of work, and future planning of the program. Oversight of the training program manager. Supporting Stanford Health Care and ValleyCare service areas. Learning Management responsibilities for the Revenue Cycle Academy training program: Healthstream database management, Intranet/SharePoint Site, video editing, communications strategy, and program marketing. Additional Job Duties: Appointed Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Team Lead for Revenue Cycle Academy. Work with operational leaders to identify training needs for their departments, then obtain sign-off/approval on the contents and delivery method. Content alignment and collaboration with senior managers that support training for Patient Financial Clearance and front desk for Stanford Medical Partners (SMP) clinic locations. Partner with system analysts, billing departments, denials management, and report analysts to problem solve workflow challenges and identify training opportunities. Collaborate with external registration and check-in areas to ensure proper training for revenue cycle objectives. Assess large-scale system and workflow changes, then determine the necessary training plan with Epic Education. Explore and implement training innovation through new technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and modern training techniques. Expansion of the point of service collections training class. Established the revenue cycle’s collegiate estimates training with simulator exam – PAS & Financial Counseling. Responsible for compiling weekly, monthly, and annual training metrics. Primary Responsibility: To build and establish detailed training programs that align with Stanford Healthcare’s revenue cycle initiatives. Currently supporting 200+ employees within Patient Access Services and all new hires within the revenue cycle. Additional Job Duties: Collects and documents current state workflows to aide in the development of departmental & division-wide policies & procedures. Identifies and proposes opportunities for standardization. Works in partnership with the organization’s system analysts and training team to identify workflow gaps & training opportunities. Co-established & facilitates SHC’s Revenue Cycle Training program for new staff members. Assists Director with planning & initiatives for new facility activations (Cancer Center South Bay, Neuroscience Health Center, & 500 Pasteur Hospital). Oversight of temporary contract staff during new facility activations. Initiates process improvement for various workflows that impact revenue cycle operations. Assists PAS leadership in identifying appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs). Conducts quality assurance audits, proposes initiatives to maintain KPIs, and defines department goals. Compiles cycle time data, cash collection data, & regulatory form completion rates.

Primary Responsibility: To develop and facilitate training plans for process improvements, system implementations, and maintenance of staff education under the supervision of the Director of Patient Access. Training scope includes but is not limited to: Medical Imaging & Cardiovascular Schedulers, Pre-Service Financial Counselors, Outpatient & Inpatient Facilities Admitting Clerks & Financial Counselors, and the Emergency Room Registration & Financial Counseling staff.

Primary Responsibility: To monitor daily operations in the Admitting department and oversight of the admitting clerks, financial counselors, and cashiers office.
