Experienced transportation professional with 30 years’ experience in many capacities within the industry. After spending 19 years as a driver and driver trainer I made the transition to the safety and training side of trucking. As a safety and risk management professional I showed strong leadership and relationship building skills. For 2 years I was the Risk Manager for the Midwest Division of Gordon Trucking. Under my direction the Midwest Division saw a reduction of over 40% in Workman's Compensation and Auto Liability expenses. Gordon Trucking Inc. also won Safest Fleet in Indiana for years 2012 and 2013. I was the project lead for Gordon Trucking Inc. for the Hours of Service changes. In 2014 I moved to Online Transport. In the first 90 days with Online we trained 20% of the fleet on electronic logs. The primary reason for the move to Online was to create and manage a training program for entry level drivers. The program was designed to take drivers from their driving permit to license and mentor training. Along with the training program, a Train the Trainer program was created for all current and prospective trainers. In 2017, I have transitioned to the Transportation Insurance industry where I have the chance to assist multiple companies improve their safety culture by reducing or eliminating risk and exposure. Through the strong relationship I built within the company I accepted a position with the sales team. In September 2020, I accepted a position with Reliance Partners as the Director of Safety. This position will allow me to improve fleet safety with a proactive approach and focus on driver behavior. In July 2021, I was promoted to VP of Safety. In this position, I have the opportunity to work with a team to build out a robust safety platform for the Reliance Partners customer base.In April 2024 I accepted a position with TVC Pro Driver. This move has allowed me to build out and further the knowledge of their CSA and DataQ team. I also have had the opportunity to work with Trucksafe Consulting on content development and sales initiatives.
