Roles cut across handling all matters concerning Environment Health and Safety: • Assist with the coordination, implementation, and review of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).• Overall management and supervision of the Contractor’s compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements of the Contract. • Ensuring the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the design deliverables comply with the Contract, and specifically the Scope of Works and Technical Criteria.• Preparing reports; Weekly, monthly and Annual.• Attending and participating in Meetings concerning Health & Safety plus other stakeholders.• Conducting Health and Safety Audits under ISO 45001, DOSHS &OHSA 18001 requirements.• Facilitating the implementation of the project HSE plan and ensuring compliance as per the OSH Act of 2007, Labour Laws, and DOSHS requirements.• Conducting Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification.• Receiving and reviewing Accidents and incidents reports from the Contractor• Liaising with contractor HSE department in Conducting incident investigations and coming up with measures to prevent re-occurrence of incidences.• Conducting toolbox talks & Conducting training on various HSE aspects• Carrying out inspections at various work stations i.e Tunnel, Crusher &Batching plants, Camps, Garages, and warehouses.• Inspecting cranes, scaffolds, tunnels, and shafts.• Participating in stakeholder consultative meetings e.g. County Government and the public Baraza.• Attending HSE workshops (The Big 5 construct Kenya 2019)• Promoting a safety culture by constantly reminding about safety matters and encouraging safe work practices.• Issuing PPEs to Engineer representatives in charge of Supervising the project and enforcing the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E) while working on site.• Documenting and updating the project progress through photography and journal publication

Worked as a Volunteer Graduate Assistant (VGA) under the Ministry of Education under the early childhood literacy department. Had the opportunity to be deployed to Marsabit County.-United volunteer graduate assistants Roles;• Identify learners who are lagging behind in class, with the help of class teachers, and aid in boosting the English and Kiswahili literacy skills of class 2 and 3 pupils using interactive educational activities that complement classroom learning. • Aside from the sessions conducted in school, volunteers initiate and implement a community engagement project of their choice, incorporating an assessment of local community needs and aligning their plans and efforts within fields ranging from health, nutrition, sanitation, environmental conservation, framing practices, technology and entrepreneurship.
