Educated at Exeter University 1974/8.with B.Ed Hons. Achieved Head of Physical Education , with later responsibilities as a Head of 6th Form and Deputy Head . Taught A level PE and A level Psychology.Retired from teaching in 2010. Currently acting as RFU Trainer, Coach Educator, and Senior Mentor.Working as a mentor on a National programme supporting elite coaches with Sports Coach UK.Experience in a diverse group of sports from Rugby to Synchronised Swimming.Some experience coaching rugby in Hong Kong, and asked to study the Academy set up in South Africa in partnership with the RFU and the Sharks.Coaching locally with Hampshire, London Irish EPDG, Portsmouth RFC, Alton RFC ,and currently Ist. XV Head Coach at United services Portsmouth.New roles in 2015 mentoring National coaches in Womens Rugby, Badminton and Golf.
