Hart was a research and development company specializing in developing zero VOC paints and coatings for commercial and industrial uses. We successfully developed multiple zero voc coatings which surpassed the wear and corrosion standards of the paint industry. I was instrumental in executing several product patents. We sold the company for a great return on investment.

Globe West was a domestic freight brokerage and forwarder. I was engaged under a 1 year contract to launch the new company. I was responsible for hiring all operations, accounting and sales personnel. Developed sales strategy and manage the sales team. Established and managed vendor/carrier relationships and negotiate carrier contract rates which included domestic truckload, rail, LTL, air freight, as well as warehouse rates for the consolidation of international freight.Implement best business practices and managed all aspects of the business. Responsible for business development and growing revenues to $4.7 million in 12 months.

Canyon was a domestic freight company which provided truckload, LTL, air freight and warehousing services.I was the number one sales producer contributing 40% of company revenues and managed nine sales people. I was instrumental in expanding company service offerings from truckload only to include domestic less than truckload (LTL), air freight, over dimensional shipments and warehousing. By expanding the service offering revenues grew from $2M to $5.8M in 12 months.

Crown Lumber is wood supplier for the construction industry as well as a manufacturer of pallets utilizing lower grade wood products. Managed material sourcing, production, personnel and sales. I restructured entire production process, increasing capacity by 800% during the first 18 months. I was directly responsible for growing revenues from $1.1M to over $7M. After three years, company was transformed from near bankruptcy to one of the top five lumber and wood products companies in California.

Sporthaus of Aspen was a high end retail ski and active sports store. The stores were located in Aspen Co., Dallas Galleria Mall and Houston Galleria Mall. The stores had annual revenue exceeding $12 M.
