He drafts corrosion related sections of work instructions and procedures independently for the Water business line when updates are required. He assists with annual updates of Energy business line procedures. He trains new staff in the area of corrosion control and cathodic protection both in the home office and abroad as well as reviews the work of others.His job duties involve review of project submittals for company standard and industry code compliance along with consulting with projects to resolve any material selection or preservation issues. His job duties also extend to basic coating system selection and welding engineering support when additional staffing is required.He supports projects ranging simple cycle, combined cycle, coal fired, and solar power generation facilities in the power generation business line; reverse osmosis facilities, waste water treatment plants, tunnel rehabilitation projects, cross country raw water lines, and water distribution lines in the water business line; substation design projects and stray current mitigation studies in the power delivery business line; and weapons storage facilities and fuel depots in the federal business line.
